Deputy Treasurer – Liquidity Management and Investments Rula AlQadi
Rula AlQadi was appointed as Deputy Treasurer – Liquidity Management and Investments at ADCB in 2025. She is responsible for executing the ADCB’s strategy across liquidity, funding and investments, and helping align Treasury strategy with the ADCB’s broader goals and growth ambitions.
She brings over 21 years of diversified banking experience spanning treasury, capital markets, funding, investments and balance sheet management across the UAE financial sector. Prior to joining ADCB, Rula served as Group Treasurer and Group Head of Funding at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), with responsibility for balance sheet optimization, funding strategy, capital management, wholesale funding, investor engagement, and sustainable finance.
Rula holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan.

Director Deepak Khullar
Deepak Khullar was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in 2008. In this role, Deepak oversees the Group Finance function (Financial Planning, Business Performance, Governance & Reporting), Investor Relations, Taxation, Economics, Group Strategy, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement. In 2021, he also took over the responsibility for the Bank’s overall ESG strategy and delivery. He previously spent 15 years with Standard Chartered Bank in the Middle East and in Korea in a variety of senior positions. Prior to that, he worked for 12 years with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers in their assurance, advisory and technical services and training practices in the Middle East and India. Deepak is an alumnus of the University of Delhi, an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and an Associate Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK).
Deepak was appointed as a Board Director of Al Hilal Bank in 2019.
Director Omran Taimour
Omran Taimour assumed the role of Executive Head of Branch Distribution at ADCB. He has an extensive 26 years of experience in the banking and finance field. With a rich background in various managerial positions within ADCB's Retail Banking Group, Omran Taimour spearheads strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing branch operations, elevating customer service standards, and implementing effective distribution strategies to propel business growth.

The primate responsibilities and functions of the Risk Committee is to provide assistance to the Board to fulfil its duties to ensure and oversee:
- The development and implementation of the Group’s Risk Governance Framework;
- The alignment of the Group’s strategic objectives with its risk profile;
- The risks in the Group’s asset portfolios;
- The development of risk measurement models, tools and monitoring of the effectiveness of such tools;
- The development and implementation of risk management strategies and limits;
- The compliance with regulatory requirements relating to risk management;
- The Group’s public reporting on risk management matters;
- The Group’s risk appetite and risk strategy; and
- The independence and effectiveness of risk management departments throughout the Group.
