What will happen to my Etihad Guest Miles?
Your accumulated Etihad Guest Miles in your Etihad Guest Account will remain unaffected. You can continue to redeem them through your Etihad Guest account as usual.
Will I continue to earn Etihad Guest Miles after 30th of November 2025?
No. Starting from 1st of December 2025, you will earn TouchPoints on your credit card purchases. However, purchases made on your Etihad Guest Visa credit card(s) until 30th of November 2025 will continue to earn Etihad Guest Miles.
How can I use TouchPoints?
TouchPoints can be redeemed for:
- Bill payments
- Electronics and lifestyle items via the Al Hilal Bank Mobile App
Will my Etihad Guest tier status continue?
Once your current Etihad Guest Tier benefit expires, it will not be renewed. Additionally, all Etihad benefits including bonus Miles on Etihad Miles redemptions for airline tickets purchases, quarterly bonuses and anniversary bonuses will be discontinued.
What happens to my credit card balance and instalment plans?
All outstanding balances, including instalment plans, will be automatically migrated to your new World Mastercard credit card by 30th of November 2025.
Will there be a change in statement or due dates?
No. Your statement date and due date will remain the same. Once your new card is issued, you can continue to use it and make repayments as usual.
Is there an annual fee for the new card?
- No annual fee in the first year
- From the second year onwards, a fee of AED 787.50 will apply. This fee is waived if you have AED 60,000 or more in retail spends over the past 12 months.
What about my supplementary card(s)?
Any supplementary Etihad Guest credit cards will also be converted, and you will receive a new supplementary card.
